Ny certifiering inom ISACA - CRISC Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
ISACA lanserar nu sin senaste certifiering - CRISC - Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (uttalas "Se Risk")
Certifieringen är designat för de som arbetar med att identifiera och styra/hantera (manage) risk från utvecklingsstadiet till underhåll av informationssystem. CRISC-certifierade stödjer organisationer att uppnå affärsmål som t ex effektiva och lönsamma funktioner, pålitliga ekonomiska rapporter och efterlevnad av regelverk och ramverk.
Ett mentorsprogram, genom vilket erfarna utövare kan erhålla certifieringen utan att genomföra examinationer kommer att starta i april. Den första examinationen sker 2011.
Följande kompetens krävs för CRISC:
- Risk identification, assessment and evaluation
- Risk response
- Risk monitoring
- IS control design and implementation
- IS control monitoring and maintenance
“The CRISC designation will demonstrate to employers that the certification holder is able to identify and evaluate the risks unique to a specific organization and help the enterprise accomplish its business objectives by designing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining risk-based, efficient and effective IS controls,” said Urs Fischer, chair of ISACA’s CRISC Task Force. “We conducted an extensive amount of research globally and found that enterprises are becoming more risk-aware and are looking to identify professionals who possess the skills to help them protect their assets and enhance their businesses. CRISC fills a gap that currently exists in the marketplace.”
CRISC är den fjärde av ISACAs certifieringar:
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), etablerad 1978 har mer än 70,000 certifierade
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), etablerad 2002 och har ca 12000 certifierade
- Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), etablerad 2006 och har ca 4000 certifierade.
